While Patrolling the coast of Haiti in 1994, Arleigh Burke was tasked with the search and seizure of contraband flowing into the country of Haiti. In conjunction with the U.S. Coast Guard, we stopped and boarded dozens of suspicious merchant vessels roaming the seas around trouble-ridden Haiti.
