Well the cold war is over, so everything in the world is just peachy right? I think not...After the fall of the Soviet Union Russia started selling off it's military hardware left and right. Here we have a picture taken on a hazy morning of a Russian made Kilo class diesel submarine in transit through the Red Sea to Iran for sale. Half the crew on board that boat was Russian, the other half was Iranian. I don't want to give too many details, but lets just say Arleigh Burke gave the Iranian part of the crew a rude awakening to cold war style Anti-Submarine Warfare tactics. I am surprised that after the way we slapped them around the Iranians didn't try to return their newly purchased toy as defective...
