Fire Torpedoes!
Onboard Arleigh Burke, maintaining the torpedo tubes was mainly the responsibility of the Torpedomen in our division. Somehow the Sonar Techs always got stuck with the job. This is a picture from Med Cruise 1993 as we were in Port Said Egypt waiting our turn to cruise down the Suez Canal into the Red Sea. I was a little less than impressed by the canal itself, but the Red Sea was pretty cool. We did a lot of real world operations down there, like tracking a Russian Kilo on it's way to Iran.
